On November 24 and 25, the first International Aeronautical and Aerospace Congress of the Canary Islands will take place at the headquarters of the Cabildo of San Sebastián de La Gomera under the title, ‘Canary Islands, the Sandbox that looks to the sky’. This event will bring together experts, companies, institutions and universities of the islands.
It will bring together representatives of the main business initiatives linked to the sector and there will be round table discussions on the usefulness of these instruments in different areas.
The program will begin on the morning of November 24 and will be dedicated to the technical section. On the same day at 19:00 there will be a light show with drones from the beach of San Sebastian.
On Friday 25th, students linked to technological studies will be able to participate, who will learn about the characteristics of the drones on display and the advances achieved for their use in civil protection and transport.
All this will be open to the public in the Torre del Conde Park, where drones will be located to be visited, and from where you can witness a mock rescue in the bay with unmanned drones and a talk of awareness.
